UM Healthcare Trust in collaboration with Lackson Medical Complex, Swabi (NWFP, Pakistan) organized a free eye camp for the poor at its rural Mardan facility in village Zahidabad. A total of 150 patients were treated during the day by medical doctors. 25 of the patients were then selected for free eye surgery. This is the first of its kind eye camp of its kind in the area. We hope to hold more of such camps in the near future.
