Construction of UM Hospital On Schedule
UM Healthcare Trust’s ambitious plans to build a small hospital for the poor and destitute in rural Mardan District is going strong. The facility is scheduled to have a regular OPD (Out Patient Department) where doctors will be treating patients six days a week. The facility will also have an amphitheatre for health education and special emphasis on preventive medicine.
It will also be the site for Jaroka, Tele-healthcare initiative being developed in collaboration with Stanford University and APPNA.
